These are pictures of an old storage building at Hines Park. The red color of the building really stood out to me. I also really like having the complementary colors of green in the grass and red on the building in Climb. One challenge I had in taking these photographs was getting good angles because the paths leading up to the building came from kind of weird directions. Regardless, I think I was able to capture the essence of the building.

This was also a building at Hines Park. When I was there the sun was beginning to set and I really like the lighting it made for the photographs. It is a pretty big building so it was a little difficult to capture it in its entirety. There were also people walking around. In order to take a good picture of the building without people in it I had to wait for the right moments.

This is an old barn near where my mom's boyfriend lives. I really like the look of the exposed wood. Holes in the walls let light in from the inside and there are still a few things laying around. I think it's a really cool place and I wanted to capture some of its charm. I also wanted to keep it looking rustic so I brought up the contrast to really bring out the texture of the wood.

I've always really liked the house my mom's boyfriend lives in. It is surrounded by beautiful trees and fields. The design of the house is also very simple but, in my opinion, very nice. Although it doesn't feel like home to me, I still really like being there. A challenge I had while taking these photographs was that many parts of the house looked very similar so it was hard to take pictures that were interesting.

This is a highway bridge over a river. I used to go on picnics here with my dad and his wife when I was younger and always really wanted to explore under the bridge. The sound of the cars driving across it is pretty loud but it also reminds me of the sounds you hear when riding a train. By the time I took these pictures it was starting to get darker out so a few of them don't have the lighting I would have wanted for them. Nonetheless I'm still pretty happy woth them.
